In November of 2010, due to an exemplary job by our volunteers, the Insurance Services Office (ISO) issued effective on June 1, 2011 a Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating of 4 for the ENTIRE District. See ISO RATING for further information. Pace's Point VFD is one of only 120 fire departments within the State of Alabama with a Class 4 rating. Only 63 departments have a lower rating of 3 or 2 while NO Alabama departments have a class 1 rating.
The Class 4 rating was renewed in September 2016 after another review.
